 Dear
Friends,
JET Sports has been providing youth sports programs
to schools since 1996. As director my goal has been
to focus on the 90% of children who are often left out
of team sports. Creating quality programs and having
the desire to help all children has allowed JET Sports
to grow year after year. I have enjoyed every moment
of being part of your children’s success on and
off the track, field and court. I am so proud of the
thousands of children and families JET Sports has had
the privilege of working with. It is now time for me
to begin a new journey, allowing me to help even more
children. For the past six months I have been working
with leaders from the State of Florida Department of
education, University of Florida, Florida Hospital,
school Principals, Directors, teachers, and parents.
I have had the pleasure of speaking in Tallahassee on
Senate Bill 610 covering school requirements for physical
education in public schools. www.Tryrunningkids.com
Try Running Kids is a new organization I developed
to assist elementary schools in the fight against childhood
obesity. The TRKids “Journey to Fitness”
program brings nutrition & exercise straight into
the classroom of elementary schools from pre-k to 6th
grade, teaching children to make healthy choices for
themselves. I am proud to continue building healthy,
happy children for
today and tomorrow.
For this reason I am extremely happy to announce the
merger of JET Sports with the Dreadhead Company, owned
and operated by Kenny Bonnett Jr. We have had the pleasure
of working with Kenny Bonnett Jr & Dreadhead Soccer
for almost 10 years.
This merger will allow the sports program to continue
growing by providing additional name recognition, marketing,
and much needed staff. In the past week I have seen
Kenny Bonnett and his staff add additional schools,
stronger field and court contracts, and new sponsors
to the JET Sports program. The sports activities and
fun will remain the same while Dreadhead brings improvements
to coaching, scheduling, locations, equipment, and a
stronger focus on fundamentals. Kenny has the mindset,
personality, devotion and vision to continue what I
started so long ago. I will continue to play an integral
part during the merger, remaining in charge of
consulting and operations training. I again thank you
for giving me the opportunity to help your children
grow and learn through youth sports. I am 100% confident
Kenny and Dreadhead will continue to build the professionalism
and fun so strongly associated
with the JET Sports name.

Parents,
I am happy, excited and ready to be part of your school,
family and child’s well being. I started Dreadhead
Company upon graduating from Rollins College in Winter
Park. For 14 years Dreadhead has fought childhood obesity
by helping children become physically active on and
off
the soccer field. Throughout the years we have collectively
helped thousands of children understand how to interact
with others, work as a team, learn the importance of
winning and losing while continually reminding them…”It
is all about having fun.” Our program gives parents
yet another reason to be involved in their children’s
life during this crucial time of adolescence.
Dreadhead Company goes beyond helping children and proudly
makes a difference in the entire
family…this alone is what makes our companies
successful.
Dreadhead Sports will be the new name of Jet Sports.
Dreadhead is a family operated company owned by myself
and my wife
Melissa Bonnett. Over the last decade both Dreadhead
Company and Jet Sports Inc. have developed a strong
reputation throughout
the Central Florida youth sports community. This reputation
is based upon consistent management, strong sponsorships
and continued
community involvement.
Dreadhead Sports are prepared to offer outstanding instruction
for players of all levels. We will continue to be professional,
organized, and enthusiastic each and every day, with
an emphasis on building long lasting relationships with
the surrounding schools
and sports community. To do this, we will commit to
a quality, safe location for our activities and train
our volunteer coaches to
develop proper coaching habits to give your children
a quality experience. Our purpose is for children to
develop good habits by
giving them the confidence, willingness and ability
to become better athletes. Most importantly we strive
to teach in an
encouraging environment, with responsible coaches who
are already part of your school and understand that
fun is the main focus.
If you miss being part of Dreadhead Sports the only
thing you'll be kicking this year is yourself!
