Information:
Dreadhead’s Basketball program is centered on
providing friendly competition to elementary schools
in the Central Florida area. We will provide a fun &
friendly atmosphere where your child will be motivated
to play and compete week after week. Dreadhead Sports
will provide 6 scheduled Games where your child will
compete against other grades and schools, a basketball
top with your school colors and
a end of the season trophy. The ultimate goal
is to create a love of basketball among our youth. It
is within this newfound love that we hope to develop
positive habits that will carry forward into our children’s
adolescent and adult lives to build a stronger and more
fit community.
Ages: Pre K - 5th Grades
Fun Club (Pre K & K Grades) - 8ft Hoops
In this club we will learn that exercise is fun. We
learn that the world does not end if someone takes a
ball away from you. We will learn the basics. We will
learn about snacks after practice and games. We play
with small goals and no goalies. Parents will learn
about youth sports. Most of all...we have fun!
Instructional (1st - 2nd Grades) - 10ft Hoops
This is an instructional club that teaches fundamental
skills. Games played will assist in building your child's
individual and team skills. It is important for your
child to learn how to win and lose gracefully at this
age. We play with larger goals and a goalie. Parents
will learn about youth sports. Most of all, we have
fun!
The Big Club (3rd - 5th Grades) - 10ft Hoops
You're in the big time now. Here we will learn how
to run drills and plays. We will learn how to play as
a team. We will learn technique and tactics. We will
develop the skills and attitude both you and your child
will carry on to JV and Varsity Sports. We use big varsity
goals and most importantly have fun.

will not be available until after we register all the
athletes.

Registration Fee: $140 - Includes:
76scheduled games, uniform, additional insurance, trophy,
practice with your school’s parent/coach. All
registrations after the deadline date will include a
$20 late fee. There is no guarantee your uniform
will arrive by the 1st Basketball Game when you sign
up late. No refunds after deadline date. No reschedule
dates or times due to bad weather or acts of God. Should
Dreadhead Sports determine a player not be able to participate
due to lack of a coach or too few players, a full refund
will be sent before first Game.
Practice: Once a week practices will
be held after school starting the week before your 1st
Basketball Game. Schools without facilities may practice
on fields near school. Your coach, not Dreadhead Sports,
will have all practice information and will decide on
practice days and location. Parents, call or email us
if you haven't heard from a coach by March 20th.
Coaches: Coaches Clinic March 20 at
Trinity Prep (Coaches only please, no children). Please

html for specific information. We will provide more
coaching information to help you through the season.
You will receive drills, coaching DVDs and coaching
techniques. We will provide all the hands on training
to make you a real coach! Coaching requires only ONE
hour a week, and one on the weekend. Share the job by
using two coaches! It isn't difficult I promise. You'll
even get a coach's shirt. Dreadhead Basketball Camps
will conduct the coaches clinic.

their uniform to each Game. Don’t forget cleats
and water bottle.
