Dreadhead began in 1994 by accident when Kenny Bonnett Jr., a student at Rollins College was procrastinating on a term paper. Instead of writing his paper he began to doodle what is now the Dreadhead Logo. Originally he was going to call the logo and company "The One and Only", Kenny's self proclaimed nickname. He later thought it was too arrogant and settled with naming the company more or less after his hair style which was Dreads. In 1994 Kenny began as a sole proprietorship, coached youth soccer and sold t-shirts with the Dreadhead Logo, a character sketch of himself and other cool drawings at various colleges: Rollins College, Ohio Wesleyan, WakeForest, UNCC, Santa Barbra, Eckerd College and Stetson University. Coaching youth soccer was his passion and he was extremely good at it. He enjoyed the idea of helping soccer players get to the next level and took great pride knowing that he was part of their soccer development. Kenny's personality and coaching ability was a huge success, helping him to sell out of his apparel on every campus during the summer time.

In the spring of 1997 Dreadhead Company was incorporated, nationally trademarked and began the 1st camp with 13 campers at Lake Island Park in Winter Park. 10 years later Dreadhead Soccer Camps boast many locations all over Central Florida & NY with over 1,000 campers each summer. Kenny is now responsible for the direction of the company, camps, curriculum and planning. Dreadhead would like to thank each and every parent, camper, location, administrator, sponsor, friend, coach, and soccer enthusiast who believed in him and gave him a chance.
For 14 years Dreadhead Company has fought childhood obesity by helping children become physically active on and off the soccer field. Throughout the years we have collectively helped thousands of children understand how to interact with others, work as a team, learn the importance of winning & losing while continually reminding them…”It is all about having fun.” Our program gives parents yet another reason to be involved in their children’s life during this crucial time of adolescents. Dreadhead Company goes beyond helping children and proudly make a difference in the entire family…this alone is what makes our companies successful.

Dreadhead Company has been successful in providing soccer services, with a special emphasis with children kindergarten to 12th grade. We have an excellent reputation and are best known for our marketing, quality and consistent service, which differentiate us from our competitors. To best take advantage of our growth opportunities, the company has bought Jet Sports Inc.
Jet Sports Inc. has been providing youth sports programs to private and public schools for 13 years. Their focus has been on the 90% of children who are often left out of sports teams. Their quality programs and the desire to help all children has allowed them to grow and
expand each year. A merger with the Dreadhead Company will allow Jet Sports Inc. to continue growing by providing additional name recognition, marketing, and much needed staff. Over the last decade both Dreadhead Company and Jet Sports Inc. have developed a strong reputation throughout the Central Florida youth sports community. This reputation is based upon consistent management, strong sponsorships and continued community involvement.

Dreadhead Sports Clubs & Camps are prepared to offer outstanding instruction for players of all levels. We will continue to be professional, organized, and enthusiastic each and every day, with an emphasis on building long lasting relationships with the surrounding schools & sports community. To do this, we will commit to a quality, safe location for our activities and train our volunteer coaches to develop proper coaching habits to give your children a quality experience. Our purpose is for children to develop good habits by giving them the confidence, willingness and ability to become better athletes. Most importantly we strive to teach in an encouraging environment, with responsible coaches who are already part of your school and understand that fun is the main focus.
